Biography
Hilary began practicing Pilates twenty five years ago after the birth of her second child, and she never looked back once she experienced improved posture, muscle tone, flexibility, energy, and balance from regular sessions. A classically trained singer, Hilary also found that practicing Pilates on a regular basis improved her breath control and postural alignment, which lead to better singing.
Hilary completed the ITT Pilates Comprehensive Instructor Training Program under the direction of Jean Sullivan, co-founder and director of A Body of Work (ABOW) in 2013. Hilary has worked as an instructor at ABOW for ten years, teaching clients of all levels and abilities. In addition to teaching group classes in the studio setting, she also designed and taught several online classes to meet the needs of the ABOW community during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
